How to Refill an HP Ink Cartridge?

Refilling empty HP ink cartridges is very simple, and it is a cost-effective choice for every purchase of expensive original HP ink cartridges. To refill HP ink cartridges, you need to obtain an ink refill kit that is easily available online. All ink refill kits usually include:

Remove the front sticker label of the printer ink cartridge, or you can completely remove the top cover of the ink cartridge. Doing so will expose 5 holes.

When refilling the black ink cartridge, please use the hole on the top and cover the rest with tape.

Fill the syringe with ink from the ink refill bottle.

Insert the syringe into the hole. You may feel some resistance from the sponge. Gently push the needle down into the sponge.

If you want to fill a standard ink cartridge, you can put about 4 ml of ink. If you want to fill a high-capacity ink cartridge, you can put about 10ml of ink. Always pay attention to the hole, because if you put too much, ink may start to overflow from the hole.

After filling the ink, pull out the syringe and remove the tape. Wipe off ink that may have escaped from the hole.

Let the ink cartridge stand for half an hour so that the sponge is completely immersed in the ink.

Reinsert the refillable ink cartridge into the printer. The HP printer will still think your ink cartridge is empty. Just bypass this message to continue printing.
